The main goal is to explain Biblical numbers with a slight "French touch" through a few fragments extracted from the main chapter dedicated to the number 153. But many remarks and paragraphs have been erased from the original pages as far as they only can be understood in French, including meaning, sound and something that could be called "logometry".

Alfa Romeo 149…

Het lijkt eerder een geslaagde photoshop, maar wellicht zit er toch een kern van waarheid in: deze foto van de Alfa 147 opvolger. Na de Alfa 159 durft niemand meer te gokken op een Alfa 148, dus dopen we de 147 opvolger maar tot Alfa Romeo 149. De 147 opvolger zal waarschijnlijk gebruik gaan maken van stijl elementen van de Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione, vooral de achterlichten springen in het oog.
De 149 zal worden uitgerust met verschillende JTD en JTS motoren, waaronder een nieuwe 120pk 1.6 JTD die de 1.9 JTD 8v vervangt. De 2.2 en 3.2 JTS motoren die zijn aangekondigd voor de Alfa Romeo 159 zullen ook hun weg vinden naar de 149.

C-17 PROGRAM NEWS AND SUPPORT IN THE PRESIDENT’S 2009 BUDGET PROPOSAL
In December of last year I was elected Recording Secretary for the Western States CAP/PAC and selected to attend the National CAP Conference here in Washington, DC.
Prior to leaving and in preparation for the conference, we knew that the President’s 2009 Budget Proposal was being published on February 5th and as in past proposals the C-17 Program was over looked and that Congress would have to fight, once again, to secure the program and get it addressed in the ’09 Budget. Timing was good for this news and our trip to Washington, so I initiated a letter writing campaign for support of the C-17 and to set-up appointments with Senators and Representatives to correspond with our time here in Washington.
We arrived on Saturday morning and began to strategize with other Union Officers, Representatives and Retirees attending the conference from across the country. While many of our CAP Representatives are from the auto industry, there are also Nurses, Teachers and College Students. I brought our focus of aerospace and the C-17 program, our workforce and jobs to the table.
On Tuesday UAW International President, Ron Gettelfinger and the Region 5 Director, Jim Wells made arrangements for me to speak with Public Relations Representatives and the Press in an effort to get our story about the ’09 Budget and the C-17 out to the national media and news. I was prepared with lists, charts, maps and statistics regarding the humanitarian, military and national security aspects of our plane as well as the 8.4 billion dollar impact the shut-down would have on our economy.
Our Representative Linda Sanchez was a speaker at yesterday’s conference; which gave us another opportunity to get additional support in getting our message heard. After the conference and meeting with Representative Sanchez, we went to the Capital Building and spoke with Senator Diane Feinstein. Senator Feinstein and her staff are part of the team supporting funding of the C-17 Program. They released the following statement regarding the ’09 Budget and the C-17: “The C-17 is the workhorse of the U.S. strategic airlift and will continue to be so. But unless the Pentagon begins to fund this critical program, we are in real danger of losing our capacity to produce this tremendous asset and meet the growing transport needs of our future warfighters.” (www.feinstein.senate.gov)
Today we met with Senator Barbara Boxer and briefly spoke to Senator John Warner (R-VA) of the Senate Armed Services Committee.

Lescha betonmolen SM 145 S WE met handwiel-arreteerschijf, 140 l, 0,55 kW, 220 V
Het belangrijkste van een betonmolen is de "juiste mix". Alleen de Lescha veiligheidsbetonmolens zijn dan ook in staat om binnen enkele seconden het materiaal perfect te mixen. Dit komt door de kogelvormige trommel en de speciale mengijzers. Hierdoor heeft de Lescha kuip geen "dode mengzones" en het mengsel bevindt zich altijd in het actieve bereik van de mengtrommel.
Op de bovenstaande foto’s kunt u het verschil tussen een betonmolen zonder en met voetrem zien. Door de ‘echte’ voetrem laat de trommel zich traploos in elke gewenste mengpositie instellen. Omdat i.p.v. een stang een staalkabel wordt gebruikt, is het remsysteem niet gevoelig voor verbuigen of stoten (met b.v. de schop).
Met het handwiel-arreteersysteem, zoals afgebeeld op de SM 145 S met handwiel, kunt u de trommel trapsgewijs in 7 verschillende mengposities brengen. U doet dit door het handwiel naar voren te kantelen, vervolgens draaien en dan weer te arreteren.

Erno Hannink is door Geert Teunissen uitgenodigd om deel te nemen aan ABS 136. De Achterhoekse Business Show 136 was geprogrammeerd voor 10 april 2003. In dit programma zou naast Erno Hannink Mary Dozeman plaatsnemen van de Auberge Graaf Hendrik te Braamt.
Doordat Mary door omstandigheden niet aanwezig kon zijn heeft Erno een uur lang de gelegenheid gehad om zijn verhaal te vertellen.Het interview op ABS 10 april 2003 is hier te horen in MP3 formaat.
